In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Beneath Your Feet.”
I’m a week late getting this in but I’ve had family staying here for the last three weeks. Not only that, I’ve taken probably a year off from the the Challenges, but I’m back…I hope! 🙂
My entry for the challenge was taken at Descanso Gardens on March 21st of this year. The hiking/photography meetup group I belong to had an outing there on that Saturday and, after most of the group had left, three of us continued walking around the grounds and taking pictures. I came across these pretty Camelia’s lying on the path; I set my camera on the ground, lowered the LCD, focused and took two photos. I couldn’t decide which one I liked better so I’m showing them both.

…Or read on to see how I processed these photos on my iPad Mini, since this blog is geared more to mobile processing/editing.
Beautiful! I prefer the first photo myself.

Thank you Kate. I really like(d) the first one also, but it was actually the second photo I took.
