Buddha and Nagas

I first processed the photo in Snapseed by using Tune Image with the following settings:

  • Brightness: 10
  • Ambiance: 55
  • Contrast: 5
  • Saturation: 5
  • Shadows: 100
  • Highlights: 15
  • Warmth: 10

Since the camera metered for the background I only wanted to apply the Tune Image settings to the Buddha. I tapped on the stack box, tapped on Tune Image, tapped on the middle icon and painted the settings at 100% on the Buddha; I also decided to use the settings at 25% on the gold areas of the building.

I then added Drama to the whole photo using the following settings:

  • Filter Strength: 90
  • Saturation: 0

Since I’ve been on a Retroluxe filter (almost) obsession I decided to check out the filter again. I tapped on the Shuffle icon several times before coming to the following settings:

  • Brightness: -15
  • Saturation: 15
  • Contrast: -5
  • Style Strength: 60
  • Scratches: 100
  • Light Leaks: 75
  • Style: 12

Since I didn’t want it affecting the Buddha I “painted” on the background by tapping on the stack box, tapping on Retroluxe, tapping the middle icon and using the effect at 100%.

My last step in Snapseed was adding HDR Scape. I used the following settings:
