While walking around Moorpark College this past weekend I came across this pretty flower that hadn’t opened up yet.
Last night I started looking at some of the apps I haven’t used, or used in a while, and came across Effects Studio. I used the sample image that opens when you start the app and started playing around. While in “Blend” I saw several cool images to blend with your photo, so I stopped using the sample image and used the one above to create this.
I loved the beautiful softness and colors it added but felt the flower needed some contrast. Adjusting the brightness and contrast slider on the sides gave me this look.
I decided to open it up in Snapseed and see what I could do. I used Tune Image with the following settings:
- Brightness: -10
- Ambiance: 80
- Contrast: 10
- Saturation: -10
- Shadows: 0
- Warmth: 5
I then opened up the Original Blend mode version in iColorama, then went to Effects>Blend. Clicking on “Photo” in the bottom right I brought in the above image. I went through all the blending modes then came back to “Subtract”. I then created a mask so that I had the lighter, softer background again.
I then opened up the image in MasterFX and added two LightFX to the photo. I flipped the FX in the lower left and rotated the FX in the upper right.
I was now ready to add my logo/watermark in iWatermark.
The final step was creating the Before and After photo in Leonardo.
